Tomasz Braun

Tomasz Braun, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Tomasz is currently the Head of Strategy at Port of Gdansk Authority. Prior to this, they worked as a Founding Partner at G&T BRAUN Partners, where they provided strategic and operational support to businesses in achieving sustainable goals. Tomasz also served as the Deputy Rector for International Relations at Lazarski University. In addition, Tomasz worked as the Deputy CEO - Energa Kogeneracja at Grupa Energa, and as a Partner at Dentons. Tomasz has also held several positions at HSBC, including Associate General Counsel, Associate General Counsel for Continental Europe, and Board Member and General Counsel for HSBC Bank Polska SA. Earlier in their career, Tomasz worked as the Vice President & General Counsel at GE Money Bank and as Founder of G&T BRAUN Partners. Tomasz started their professional journey as Country Director at Heinrich Böll Foundation and worked as Country Office Director at both the European Commission and Baltic Small Projects Facility Programme. Tomasz Braun, PhD completed their education in several institutions. In 1994-1995, they attended NEOMA Business School, where they earned a Mastère Spécialisé en Banque et Finances (MBF) degree in Business Administration and Management. Tomasz also studied Political Studies at Université catholique de Louvain and International Law and Legal Studies at Leiden University, although the specific years of study are not provided.

In 2014-2016, Tomasz Braun pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Uczelnia Łazarskiego w Warszawie, specializing in Law.
