Johanneke van Steenbergen

Johanneke van Steenbergen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental management, crisis management, and public affairs. Currently serving as Manager Permits & Advice Environmental Management and previously as Senior Advisor at the Port of Rotterdam since September 2012, Johanneke has also held roles such as Omgevingsmanager en Public Affairs. Prior experience includes working as a Crisis Manager at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and an internship in the Security Policy Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. Additionally, Johanneke served as a Political Assistant for CDA Haarlemmermeer and was a Student Assistant at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Academic qualifications include a Master in Public Administration and a Law and Politics of International Security Master from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, complemented by a Bachelor in Public Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
