Niels Lanser

Niels Lanser is a seasoned professional in the hydrogen sector, currently serving as Business Manager Hydrogen at the Port of Rotterdam since June 2023. Prior to this role, Niels held several key positions at HyGear from July 2014 to February 2023, including Managing Director and Director of Business Development Hydrogen Global. Niels also has extensive experience from Royal HaskoningDHV, where roles included Director Business Development Environmental Quality & Sustainability and Director Advisory Group Sustainable Ports, as well as previous positions in consulting and project management at Ecofys, McKinnon & Clarke, and ECN. Niels holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, and a Post Master in Strategic Account Management from the Institute for Sales and Account Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
