Creative Brand Manager at Port of San Diego

Danny Palomino has a diverse and extensive work experience in marketing and creative roles. Danny started their career as a Marketing Intern at the San Diego Sockers, where they supported the Marketing department in planning and executing game day events and sponsorships. Danny then moved on to another Marketing Internship at Integrated Sports Marketing, where they assisted with the marketing, planning, and execution of major events.

After completing their internships, Palomino joined the San Diego Padres as a Marketing Assistant, where they assisted with the development and execution of marketing campaigns and everyday operations. Danny then progressed to the role of Marketing Coordinator, where they managed agency relationships and implemented web strategies to increase traffic and registered users. Danny eventually became the Marketing & Creative Services Manager, where they led the overall creative strategy and managed the internal design team.

Following their time at the Padres, Palomino joined Sycuan Casino as a Marketing Production Manager. In this role, they managed the production of various creative projects, including media, collateral, web, and social media content, as well as video production. Danny worked closely with external agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality and on-brand content.

Currently, Palomino serves as the Creative Brand Manager at the Port of San Diego. In this role, they oversee the creative direction of the entire organization and leads an internal multimedia design team. Danny develops and executes integrated marketing campaigns across multiple industries and sectors, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external agencies.

Danny Palomino attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In 2018, they enrolled at San Diego City College and is expected to graduate in 2022 with an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design.
