Chris Beck

Chris Beck, MBA, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, currently serves as the Manager of Total Rewards at the Port of Seattle, overseeing the compensation team and programs since September 2021. Prior to this role, Chris held various positions in human resources at Community Transit from February 1999 to September 2021, including Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Supervisor, focusing on employee relations and policy interpretation. Earlier experience includes serving as a Human Resources Representative at KAO Infosystems, a Human Resources Director at Arctic King Fisheries, and a Human Resources Coordinator at Empire Alaska Seafoods, accumulating extensive knowledge in employee relations, recruitment, compensation, and performance management. Chris earned an MBA from Western Washington University in 2021 and a BA in Human Services from the same institution in 1990.
