Garrett Jensen

Garrett Jensen is a Senior Planner in Maritime at the Port of Seattle, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this, Garrett served as an Associate Port Planner at the Port of Everett from March 2022 to October 2023 and as an Associate Planner for the City of Mukilteo from November 2017 to March 2022. Garrett's planning career began as an Assistant Planner for the Mid-Willamette Valley Council of Governments from August 2015 to November 2017. Additionally, Garrett worked as a Planning Coordinator with AmeriCorps for the Port of Tillamook Bay and as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Oregon. Earlier experience includes serving as a Community Development Specialist with AmeriCorps, focusing on natural hazards mitigation plans in Oregon. Garrett earned a Master's degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
