Kevin Korver, P.E. is a skilled fire protection engineer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Senior Fire Protection Engineer at the Port of Seattle since May 2025, Kevin's previous roles include positions at the Federal Aviation Administration, Coffman Engineers, Seattle Fire Department, and Boeing. Kevin also gained valuable experience as a Research & Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland and as a Graduate Intern at Rolf Jensen & Associates, Inc. In the early stages of the career, Kevin worked as a NFPA Certified Marine Chemist at Sound Testing, Inc. and as a Fire/Explosion Prevention Specialist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Kevin holds a Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington.
