Mike DeSota, CHMM, serves as the Sr. Environmental Compliance Program Manager for the Port of Seattle since September 2007, overseeing the Seaport Division's Environmental Compliance Program and ensuring adherence to applicable regulations. Prior to this role, Mike held the position of Environmental Health & Safety Manager at Mikron Industries from 2005 to 2007, where responsibilities included maintaining compliance across three facilities with local, state, and federal regulations related to environmental issues. Mike's earlier experience includes serving as an Environmental Specialist/Contract Manager at Philip Services Corporation from 2000 to 2005, managing hazardous waste needs for key clients such as the Seattle Parks Department and Northwest Airlines. Mike DeSota earned a BS in Environmental Health from the University of Washington between 1994 and 1998.
