Ryann Child

Ryann Child is a Senior Environmental Program Manager at the Port of Seattle, where responsibilities include developing programs to reduce air and greenhouse gas emissions from maritime operations and managing the Pacific Northwest to Alaska Green Corridor project. Previous roles within the Port of Seattle involved creating the first Maritime Climate and Air Action Plan and conducting annual GHG emissions inventories. Prior experience includes consulting for Ross Strategic on clean ports and climate change, launching a wholesale product line at Five Bamboo, and supporting bicycle commuting initiatives at Cascade Bicycle Club. Early career highlights include serving as Editor-in-Chief for Encompass Ethics Magazine and interning at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to develop a Transportation Health Impact Assessment Toolkit. Ryann Child holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and Policy from Duke University.
