Michael Schornstein is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare management and emergency medical services. Currently serving as the Corporate Director of Revenue Cycle Management at Northwell Health since April 2003, Michael has held various leadership roles, including Administrative Director for LIJ Campus Access Services and Project Manager for both the Receivables Management - Soarian Implementation Project and Patient Financial Services. Additionally, Michael has been a dedicated member of the Port Washington Fire Department since 1989, achieving the positions of Fire Medic, Ex Captain, and Assistant Safety Officer, while also being a certified EMT-Critical Care. Further contributions to the community include roles as an EMS Instructor and Skills Evaluator at Nassau County EMS Academy since 2007. Michael's prior experience encompasses management roles at Lenox Hill Hospital, JEWISH HOME LIFECARE, and Mount Sinai St. Luke's. Michael holds a Master's degree in Health Care Administration and a BBA in Management, both from Hofstra University.
