Moustafa Youssef

Moustafa Youssef has a wealth of experience in the energy industry. Starting in 2006 as a Materials Technician at AMEC, they then moved to Husky Energy as a Process Engineering Student in 2008. In 2011, they became a Measurement While Drilling Engineer at Halliburton before leaving voluntarily to pursue a career in photovoltaics. Moustafa worked as an Installer at SkyFire Energy Inc. in 2014, and then as a Principal Engineer at Neighbour Power Inc. from 2014 to 2016. Moustafa then worked as a Solar PV Engineer at Grace Energy Solar & Wind Products from 2016 to 2017, and at Sentinel Solar from 2017 to 2020. Moustafa is currently a Senior Systems Engineer at Portable Electric, where they are responsible for balancing the high level system requirements for mobile electrical energy storage systems and is leading the electro-mechanical engineering of its inter-modular power distribution.

Moustafa Youssef completed a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering at Dalhousie University in 2009. Moustafa then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Calgary, which they completed in 2020.
