The founding team at PortableApps.com has a history of experience in technology and engineering. The team's CEO and lead engineer comes from a background of working at Rare Ideas, LLC, and the team's technology director and lead web engineer come from a background of working at Optech Systems. Additionally, the team's assistant treasurer and web engineer have a history of working at Bankers Trust. The team is also educated, with the team's CEO having a degree in computer science from Binghamton University.
