Suna also has a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from The George Washington University - School of Engineering & Applied Science, which they completed in 2008. Additionally, they obtained another Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from The George Washington University in the same year.

In terms of certifications, Suna has a Certificate of Advanced Leadership from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, which they obtained in May 2019. Suna also has a certification in Analytics: Optimizing Big Data from the University of Delaware, obtained in December 2016. Furthermore, they hold a certification in Immunochemistry & Monoclonal Antibody Production (BIO-TRAC) from the National Institutes of Health, obtained in August 2013.
