Suna L. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Suna is currently working as the Director of Operations in Atlanta for Portal Innovations, LLC, a position they began in 2022.

Prior to this, they were involved in the healthcare industry, serving as Co-Founder and COO of TruDiary, Inc. from 2020 to 2022. Suna also worked as a Digital Health Strategy Consultant for the same company from 2020 to 2022.

Suna has also been involved in education, working as a Teaching Assistant in Entrepreneurship at Emory University - Goizueta Business School from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant in Change Management from 2018 to 2019.

Suna has also ventured into entrepreneurship as the Co-Founder and COO of Aja Labs, a role they held from 2021 to 2022. Suna previously worked as a Business Advisor for the same company from 2020 to 2021.

Suna has experience in program management and community health, having worked as a Program Manager and Social Impact Intern for Rimidi in 2019.

Suna has a background in research and development, with roles such as Founder and Lead of the African American Leadership Council (AALC) at Johnson & Johnson from 2015 to 2018. Suna also served as a Program Lead and Associate Scientist during this time. Prior to that, they worked as an R&D Associate at MedImmune from 2008 to 2013, focusing on biologics drug development and bioassay development.

Suna started their career as a Patent Examiner at USPTO in 2007. Suna also worked as a Teaching Assistant at The George Washington University Columbian College of Arts & Sciences in 2006 and was a NSF REU Summer Intern at Cornell University in 2005.

Suna L. has a diverse education background. Suna holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Organization & New Venture Management and Operations Strategy from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, which they completed in 2019. Prior to their MBA, in 2012, they obtained a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering.

Suna also has a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from The George Washington University - School of Engineering & Applied Science, which they completed in 2008. Additionally, they obtained another Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from The George Washington University in the same year.

In terms of certifications, Suna has a Certificate of Advanced Leadership from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, which they obtained in May 2019. Suna also has a certification in Analytics: Optimizing Big Data from the University of Delaware, obtained in December 2016. Furthermore, they hold a certification in Immunochemistry & Monoclonal Antibody Production (BIO-TRAC) from the National Institutes of Health, obtained in August 2013.
