Madeleine McElwain

Madeleine McElwain has over a decade of diverse experience in administrative and educational roles. Currently serving as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at Porter Memorial Baptist Church since August 2025, Madeleine previously worked as an Administrative Assistant at Performance Foodservice and as a Lower School Office Manager at Lexington Latin School. Additional experience includes roles as an Executive Administrative Secretary for the Commonwealth of Kentucky Personnel Cabinet, and as an AES Program Representative/Sales Representative for Indiana Wesleyan University. Early career highlights entail coordinating public relations, marketing, and events for West Chester Township, and managing banquet operations at Hyatt Regency Lexington and Churchill Downs. Madeleine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism from the University of Kentucky.
