Sumit Kashyap

Sumit Kashyap has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Sumit started their career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Tata Motors in August 2010. Subsequently, they held various roles such as Assistant Manager in Quality & Special Processes, Assistant Manager in New Product Introduction for Fully Built Vehicles, and Manager in New Product Introduction for Fully Built Vehicles.

In July 2015, they transitioned to the role of Associate Product Manager for Small Commercial Vehicles in Tata Motors' International Businesses, where they handled product management for Right Hand drive markets. In August 2017, they became the Product Manager for Buses, responsible for the entire product portfolio for left-hand drive markets. During this role, they led the development and successful launch of multiple products across various countries.

Sumit's most recent position was as the Deputy General Manager for Market Development, SCV, and Pickups at Tata Motors since July 2018. Currently, in 2023, they hold the position of Head of Strategic Initiatives at Porter.

Sumit Kashyap earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Production & Industrial Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology between 2006 and 2010.
