Dan Cohn-Sfetcu

Dan Cohn-Sfetcu has extensive work experience in the investment banking and private equity industries. Dan began their career in 1994 at RBC Dominion Securities and then moved on to Cowen & Company in 2000, where they served as Vice President of Investment Banking. In 2002, Dan joined Brookstone Partners as a Principal and later joined American Capital in 2006 as Vice President of the Buyout Group. Dan then transitioned to Richardson Capital Limited in 2009, where they held the position of Principal. In 2011, they returned to American Capital as a Managing Director and remained in this position until 2015 when they joined The Carlyle Group in the same role. Currently, Dan holds the position of Managing Director at Portfolio Advisors, LLC, which they started in September 2018.

Dan Cohn-Sfetcu completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Business from Queen's University from 1990 to 1994. Dan then pursued a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from AIMR from 1994 to 1997.
