Ashley Wernher-Collins

Ashley Wernher-Collins is an experienced seamstress and garment designer currently working at Mulxiply since September 2022. In addition to this role, Ashley serves as an Overhire Stitcher for Bowdoin College's Department of Theater and Dance since March 2022, contributing to costume development for student performances. Ashley has been involved with Portland Stage since August 2016 as a Costume Shop Assistant, focusing on all aspects of costume development. Previous experience includes serving as a Continuing Studies Instructor at Maine College of Art from September 2019 to December 2022 and as a Studio Technician and Teaching Assistant in the Textile & Fashion Design Department from August 2016 to May 2019. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile and Fashion Design from Maine College of Art & Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Bowdoin College.
