Moné Jones, M.Ed has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2015, they were a Student Athlete at the University of Virginia, playing on the Women's basketball team. Moné served as captain during the 2018-2019 season. In 2019, they started Coach Mo's Training, a basketball training business aimed at helping young players in their area. Moné continued their education and professional development by becoming a 2019 Cohort Member at The Winning Edge Leadership Academy.
In 2020, Moné joined the University of Virginia as a Graduate Assistant. Moné worked in this role until 2022, gaining experience and knowledge in their field. Additionally, Moné worked as an Online Facilitator/ELA at Chapel Hill Carborro City Schools from September 2019 to August 2020.
Most recently, Moné has been working at the Portland Trail Blazers @ the Rose Quarter as a Basketball Operations Coordinator since November 2022.
Moné Jones, M.Ed, obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, General from the University of Virginia from 2015 to 2019. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Education degree with a focus on Higher Education/Higher Education Administration-Intercollegiate Athletics Administration from the University of Virginia, completing their graduate studies from 2020 to 2022.
