Michelle Barton

Michelle’s association with the Portman companies began in 1997, when she began working with AMC, Inc., which operated AmericasMart Atlanta. In her role as Chief Financial Officer of AMC, Michelle oversaw the accounting, FP&A, treasury/debt, lease administration, legal, technology, and registration functions. Prior to joining AMC, Michelle worked with New World Communications Group as Corporate Controller, and with Ernst & Young, where she focused on assurance services for financial services and public sector clients.

Michelle graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Systems (MAS). Michelle is a Certified Public Accountant.
