Samuel Saunders

Samuel Saunders serves as the Medical Director of Occupational Medicine at Portneuf Medical Center, a position held since August 2022, and also acts as a team physician for Idaho State University athletics. Prior to this role, Samuel Saunders worked as a Sports Medicine Physician at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley from July 2021 to January 2023, and completed a Family Medicine Residency at Doctor Hospital Renaissance from June 2018 to June 2021. Academically, Samuel Saunders earned a Doctor of Osteopathy from Midwestern University in Arizona and holds a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from Brigham Young University, completed in 2014.
