Leandro Amoras

Leandro Amoras has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and analytics. Leandro started their career at EY as a Consultant and later transitioned to the role of Data Analyst. In these roles, they worked on IT governance, process automation, data analytics, and data visualization projects using various tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, and VBA.

Leandro then joined Porto Seguro as a Data Engineer, where they were responsible for managing and developing data infrastructure related to cloud costs. Leandro also played a key role in defining and leading the Cloud Data team's innovation and development projects. Additionally, they contributed to the development of the FinOps Portal and worked on data ingestion, processing, and governance projects.

In 2023, Leandro became a Community Member at FinOps Foundation, further expanding their expertise in the field.

Leandro Amoras completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás from 2019 to 2023. Leandro then pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Big Data & Artificial Intelligence at the same university from 2023 to 2025. Prior to their university education, they obtained a Technical certification in Database Administration from Instituto Federal de Goiás in 2014-2015. In addition to their formal education, Leandro has obtained various certifications and training in areas such as FinOps, AWS, Data Engineering, Big Data, Python, SQL, and Data Science from institutions like FinOps Foundation, Amazon Web Services, Alura, LinkedIn, How Bootcamps, EY, and Udemy Academy.
