Sami Foguel

Sami Foguel graduated in Engineering from Universidade Estadual De Campinas, in June 1998, and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s School of Business, in 2004. He was elected as CEO of Healthcare of Porto Seguro – Seguro Saúde S.A., in July 2021, and as Vice President – Saúde, on October 20, 2021. He was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of RBD (Rede Brasileira de Diagnóstico), in 2020/2021, and CEO of Grupo Alliar, from 2019 to 2021, both of which are companies in the health sector. From 2018/2019, he worked in the telecommunications sector, serving as CEO of Tim Brasil, a subsidiary of Telecom Italia. He also worked as Chief Operation Officer and Chief Cargo Officer of TAP Linhas Aéreas, from 2017 to 2018, and was Head of Portugalla Airlines, or PGA, which is part of Grupo TAP, in addition to serving as Vice President of Customer Operations and Chief Operation Officer at Azul Linhas Aéreas, from 2014 to 2018.
