Pieter Haesaert is an accomplished professional in the customs and international trade sector, currently serving as the Strategy, Product & Revenue Executive Officer for the Customs Domain at AEB since August 2024. Pieter is also an Advisory Board Member at CustomsClear and a member of the Customs Knowledge Community Management Council at the Customs Knowledge Institute, focusing on enhancing customs knowledge among professionals. As Chairman of Customs Related Software & Network Providers and Founder of customs4trade, Pieter has developed innovative solutions for customs and trade compliance, including the CAS software platform. Previously, Pieter held leadership roles as Chief Executive Officer of Portorium Solutions and senior management positions at Deloitte and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Pieter's educational background includes studies at Fiscale Hogeschool, HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen, KU Leuven, and Sint-Jozefsinstituut Torhout.
