Nicholas de Pont

Nicholas de Pont has a diverse range of work experience. Nicholas started their career as a Researcher at TERNZ Ltd from September 2008 to May 2010. Nicholas then joined Ports of Auckland in December 2012 as a Strategic Planning Analyst and worked there until August 2016. Nicholas then moved to DP World Australia as an Optimisation Manager from August 2016 to November 2018, and later became the National Continuous Improvement Manager from November 2018 to November 2020. Since November 2020, Nicholas has been working as a Senior Manager in Operational Centre of Excellence at Ports of Auckland.

Nicholas de Pont began their education at The University of Auckland in 2003. Nicholas pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Engineering Science, which they successfully completed in 2006. After a few years in the field, Nicholas decided to further their education and enrolled at The University of Auckland once again in 2007. This time, they pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Engineering Science, which they completed in 2008. Nicholas then took a slight shift in their academic focus and enrolled in the same university in 2011 to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Finance, which they completed in 2012.
