Lauren Thompson

Lauren Thompson is a Breast Surgical Oncologist and Medical Director of the Breast Center at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in New Hampshire, serving in this role since October 2018. Prior to this position, Lauren completed a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in 2017-2018 and a General Surgery Residency at North Shore-LIJ Health System from July 2012 to June 2017. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University, a Master of Public Health in Toxicology and Reproductive Health from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis. Lauren began academic pursuits at Buckingham Browne & Nichols High School.
