Commercial Director For Australia And New Zealand

PORTWEST, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the role of Commercial Director For Australia and New Zealand. Portwest is one of the fastest growing workwear companies in the world currently employing over 5,300 staff worldwide with customer service staff in over 130 countries. We design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities. 

OVERVIEW OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for developing and implementing strategic pans/initiatives which will deliver sustainable sales growth in conjunction with the Global Commercial Director

• Develop sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager

• Competitor and market analysis and database

• Responsible for the implementation of Portwest Group’s brand guidelines

• Regular travel will be required

• Involved in all aspects of representing, selling and Marketing Portwest and Huski in the region

• Customer relationship management and new business development via productive and targeted sales and marketing strategies and activities

• Managing all sales and marketing activities in the region

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• A strong growth mindset to deliver on ambitious growth targets and profitability targets

• Experience and Knowledge of the PPE/Workwear/Industrial markets in Australia at director level or nationwide manager level

• An ambitious and hungry desire to work both independently and to work collaboratively towards set goals and targets

• Passionate about sales and marketing and executing commercial plans in line with company expectations

• Be proactive in addressing business needs to drive growth
