Abhishek Nair has a diverse and extensive work experience. Abhishek is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at PortXchange, where they lead the commercial team in developing growth strategies and building partnerships globally. Previously, they worked as an International Business Consultant at PortXchange, leading a digital transformation project that resulted in a significant reduction in port turnaround time and the establishment of a collaboration agreement. Prior to that, Abhishek worked at Stolt Tankers as a Port Superintendent and Voyage Coordinator, where they were responsible for managing port operations and ensuring compliance with regulations. Abhishek also served as a Marine & Operations Superintendent at Erasmus Shipinvest Group. Abhishek's earlier experience includes working as a Master/Captain and Chief Officer & Safety Officer at International Tanker Management - V.Group, as well as Chief Officer, Safety Officer, and Navigating Officer at Univan Ship Management Ltd. Overall, Abhishek brings extensive expertise in the maritime industry and has a proven track record of achieving operational efficiency and fostering partnerships.

Abhishek Nair's education history includes a Master's Degree in Maritime Economics & Logistics from Erasmus School of Economics, which they obtained from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma of Education in Ship Management (specialism in Fleet Technical Management) from Lloyd's Maritime Academy from 2013 to 2014. In 2005 to 2006, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies from Blackpool and The Fylde College.

Lastly, in 2009, they achieved a Master Mariner - Certificate of Competency from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
