Derek Tang

Derek Tang is an experienced procurement and contracts manager with a diverse background in the oil and gas industry and related sectors. Currently serving as Contracts & Procurement Manager at Posco International Corporation since March 2023, Derek has held several significant positions, including Project Procurement Manager at MODEC Offshore Production Systems and Global Procurement Manager at Wilhelmsen Group. With over a decade of experience in procurement roles across multiple companies, including Jadestone Energy and Talisman Energy, Derek has demonstrated expertise in managing large teams, overseeing procurement processes, and ensuring compliance with project standards. Derek's academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Project Management from the National University of Singapore, along with a Mechanical Honours degree from Nanyang Technological University and a Mechanical Diploma from Singapore Polytechnic.
