Steven Wang

Steven Wang is a Senior Research Scientist at Poseida Therapeutics, Inc. with experience in leading tandem CAR-T research projects and solid tumor allogeneic T cell therapy programs. Prior to their current role, Steven (Guan) worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Southern California focusing on oncolytic viruses and CAR T cell therapy. Steven (Guan)'s background includes postdoctoral research on antiretroviral enzymes and graduate research on intracellular trafficking mechanisms. Steven also has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Chemistry and completed their PhD in Biological Chemistry from Southern Illinois University. Steven (Guan) holds a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University.
