Mine Çetinkaya-Rundel

Mine Çetinkaya-Rundel is a Professor of the Practice and Director of Undergraduate Studies at Duke University, focusing on innovation in statistics education, emphasizing student-centered learning and open-source education since July 2011. Additionally, Mine serves as a Data Scientist and Developer Educator at RStudio, Inc. and is a Partner at OpenIntro, co-authoring OpenIntro Statistics and developing educational materials since 2009. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Statistical Consultant at UCLA's Statistical Consulting Center, providing statistical support and conducting mini-courses, as well as earlier positions as a Lecturer and Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA and the University of California. Mine holds a PhD and a Master’s in Statistics from UCLA and a BS in Actuarial Science from NYU Stern School of Business.
