Carlos Romanillos

Carlos Romanillos is a seasoned firmware and software engineer with over two decades of experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Firmware Engineer at Positioning Universal since August 2023, Carlos has previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Qualcomm from May 2011 to May 2023, focusing on OpenMax wrappers and device drivers for hardware-accelerated video components. Carlos's early career included roles at Wipro Technologies, AMIGE, and Dextra Technologies, where responsibilities ranged from developing automation systems for the steel industry to integrating Nokia's Series 60 platform for Symbian OS. Carlos holds a BS in Electronic Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, obtained between 1995 and 1999.
