Alejandro Lucio Chaustre

Alejandro Lucio Chaustre is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business consulting within the Colombian energy markets, currently serving as Group CEO at ÓPTIMA CONSULTORES since December 2012. Specializing in power trade, project finance, energy portfolio management, and derivatives trading, Alejandro also holds a position on the Risk and Investment Committee at Positiva Compañía de Seguros. Previously, Alejandro has held leadership roles, including President of the Board at Ser Colombia and various consulting positions with the Inter-American Development Bank and USAID, focusing on renewable energy projects and technical structuring. Alejandro's academic credentials include an MSc in International Securities, Investment and Banking from Henley Business School and a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on International Finance from Universidad de Los Andes.
