Courtney Hamilton

Associate Director, Stewardship and Engagement at Positive Coaching Alliance

Courtney Hamilton has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Courtney is currently working as an Associate Director of Stewardship and Engagement at Positive Coaching Alliance, a position they started in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Coaching Corps from 2019 to 2022, serving as a Development and Events Manager and later as an Event Manager.

Before their time at Coaching Corps, Courtney worked at UC Berkeley Athletics from 2014 to 2019. Courtney held the positions of Associate Director of Development, Special Events, and Donor Hospitality, where they planned various fundraising and donor events, and Revenue Generation Coordinator, where they managed documentation for premium seat holders and provided customer service to top donors. Additionally, they handled event contracting and invoicing for special events at California Memorial Stadium.

Courtney also has experience in coaching and mentorship. Courtney worked as an Assistant JV Women's Basketball Coach at Northgate High School from 2014 to 2016. During their tenure, the team achieved the title of 2015-16 DVAL Co-Champions. Furthermore, they served as a Basketball Camp Instructor at Cal Stars Basketball Organization from 2007 to 2012, mentoring and guiding youth athletes in skill development and team building.

In 2013, Courtney gained experience in compliance and advancement as an intern at California State University, Chico. Courtney assisted in checking student-athlete eligibility and coordinated a fundraising project while attending donor meetings to secure funds for the Women's Legacy Fund Program.

Courtney Hamilton attended California State University, Chico from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology, with a focus on Coaching and Administration.
