Paolo Emiliani

Paolo Emiliani has been named Head of Presales for Positive Technologies in 2019. In his current role, Paolo leads the worldwide presale engineering team and is responsible of presale offering and proposition in the telecommunications and IoT space.

Having studied engineering telecommunications at the university, Paolo has matured a solid multidomain knowledge, starting as developer, then spending 10 years in the airport and aviation industry, designing and managing airlines and airports’ information systems as Airport Technical Manager. Subsequently he has matured 12+ years in security space with different roles: Security Auditor NIST, ISO2700X, IEC62xxx, IoT Security Specialist, Security Architect, having conducted projects in heterogeneous systems for large enterprises, financial organizations, and telecom operators. He has also worked in ICS security and in the energy sector, leading the delivery of one of the biggest European private network projects in Italy (on CWDM/DWDM technology). Paolo is often seen as a public speaker for Positive Technologies at various industry and company-led events.
