Edward Kmett

Edward Kmett is a technology leader and founder with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as Founder and CTO at Positron AI since April 2023, Edward previously held multiple senior roles at Groq, including Head of Technology and Architecture, and Senior Technical Advisor. Edward's work at the Machine Intelligence Research Institute and Digital Asset focused on research and language engineering for smart contracts, respectively. Prior to that, Edward spent several years at S&P Global Market Intelligence, where responsibilities included designing scalable data processing techniques and developing the Ermine programming language. Edward's career began with roles in software engineering and consultancy, complemented by a strong academic foundation in mathematics and computer science from Eastern Michigan University.
