Polly Higgins

Polly Higgins is an experienced journalist and editor with a strong background in features, health, and lifestyle reporting. Currently serving as the AME for Features & Health and Health & Wellness Editor at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette since September 2021, Polly has previously held significant editorial roles at amNewYork as Editor In Chief of amNY.com, and at Newsday Media Group as Senior Editor for Entertainment and Lifestyle. Polly also gained editorial experience at Metromix and the Tucson Citizen, beginning a career in journalism that involves early instructional roles as an adjunct instructor at The University of Arizona. Polly holds a BA in Journalism and Russian Language & Literature from Indiana University Bloomington and an MA in Media Arts from the University of Arizona.
