Studio Manager / Creative Audio Director at Post Haste Digital

Erik Puhm has a diverse work experience in the audio and video production industry. Erik started their career as a Videographer and Editor at Seyer Digital Media Production in 2006. Erik then worked as a Stage Hand/Grip with Rhino Staging and Event Solutions in 2006, where they gained experience in working with various shows and events. In 2009, Erik founded their own company, Magic Hourglass Entertainment, which focused on producing freelance projects and collaborating with others on event production and entertainment endeavors. Erik also worked as a Camera Operator on the SAG indie feature "The Humdrummer" in 2009.

From 2011, Erik worked at Post Haste Digital in multiple roles. Erik started as a Studio Manager / Creative Audio Director, managing recording and mix stages and overseeing creative audio and dubbing workflows. Erik then transitioned to the role of Audio Engineer, Editor, and Mixer + Creative Audio Sales, working on ADR/VO mixing, foley mixing/editing, commentary recording/editing/mixing, and more. During this time, they also served as the Vault Media Migration Manager/Shipping & Receiving, managing incoming and outgoing assets and expanding the company's vault.

Erik also co-founded the Laughlin International Film Festival in 2011 and served as the Festival Director/Lead Programmer, organizing screenings of over 450 independent short and feature films from around the world. Erik also worked on the documentary film "Beyond the Chair" as a Picture & Sound Editor, ADR Mixer, and 5.1 Re-recording Mixer.

Erik Puhm attended San Diego State University from 2003 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in Television, Film, and New Media Productions. During their time at San Diego State University, their focus of study included cinematography, editing, and media. In 2006, Erik participated in a five-week film program at FAMU - Prague, Czech Republic, which was organized in collaboration with the University of Miami. This program allowed him to gain knowledge and experience in European film production.
