William Porter, MCIPS, has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. William is currently employed at Post Office Ltd as the Head of Procurement - Retail. William has held various roles at the company since 2015, including Head of Procurement, Property & Supply Chain & Procurement Performance & Operations, Head of Property & Supply Chain Procurement, and Senior Category Manager.
Before joining Post Office Ltd, William worked at Iron Mountain as a Senior Category Lead, Construction for a brief period in 2015. Prior to that, they were the Head of UK Procurement at Marmon Retail Services from 2012 to 2015.

In their role as European Category Buying Manager, they were responsible for managing the procurement of property equipment for the UK, ROI, Central Europe, and Turkey, with spend accountability over £150 million.

William Porter, MCIPS, attended Mark Hall Comprehensive from 1991 to 1996. William then pursued further education at Greenwich School of Management from 2013 to 2014 and London Metropolitan University from 2014 to 2017. At both institutions, they focused on Supply Chain Management and obtained a degree from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply.
