Ashley Smith

Ashley Smith has a diverse work experience, with roles in various companies and industries. Ashley started their career as an Information Systems Technician in the US Navy from August 2005 to August 2009. Later, they joined Creating IT Futures as an IT-Ready Student, where they underwent an 8-week training program to acquire the necessary skills for the technology workforce. Ashley then worked as a Quality Assurance Technician at StreamGuys from November 2017 to October 2018. Following this, they attended Fullstack Academy of Code as a Software Engineering Student from October 2018 to February 2019. Ashley then joined IQMS as a Software Test Analyst from March 2019 to November 2019. Currently, they are employed at Postal, where they initially worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer starting in November 2019. Ashley has recently been promoted to the role of Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, which they currently hold.

Ashley Smith's education history includes various academic and certification achievements. Ashley attended UC Santa Barbara from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology. In 2015 to 2016, they furthered their education at Simmons University, focusing on Library and Information Science. In 2018 to 2019, they attended Fullstack Academy, pursuing studies in Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, Ashley has obtained a list of certifications, including Spring: Messaging with JMS (obtained in July 2019), API Testing Foundations, GraphQL Essential Training (both obtained in April 2019), ASTQB Agility Testing, ASTQB Mobile Testing, ASTQB Foundation Level (all obtained in October 2017), and CompTIA A+ (obtained in September 2017).
