Slav Slavov

Slav Slavov is a seasoned professional in operational risk management with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as the Unit Lead for Operational Risk Oversight at Postbank (Eurobank Bulgaria AD) since November 2020, Slavov is responsible for managing operational risk events, oversight of risk registration compliance with the Basel framework, and reporting on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs). Previous roles include Deputy Head and Interim Head of the Operational Risk Department, where expertise was provided in outsourcing assessments and Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs). Slavov has also held the position of Head of Internal Audit Division at Piraeus Bank Bulgaria and has considerable experience in internal controls and auditing from previous roles at D Commerce Bank and Eurobank Bulgaria. Slavov holds a Master's degree in Banking from Economic University Varna and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the School of Mathematics in Sliven.
