Jeff Barthel

Jeff Barthel is an experienced professional with a background in education and journalism. Currently serving as a Special Needs Educational Assistant at Independent School District 191 since October 2022, Jeff has previously worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Bloomington Public Schools, supporting children with severe disabilities. In addition to educational roles, Jeff has been a Freelance Sports Reporter for the Rochester Post-Bulletin since 2008, covering various sports events and writing articles. Other experiences include teaching preschool at CCCC and working in painting and customer service positions. Jeff holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Minnesota.
