Sandra Chupinsky

Sandra Chupinsky is a Research Specialist at PostcardMania. Sandra has also worked as a Marine Mammal Stranding Intern at the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission, a Marine Science Instructor at the Marine Resources Development Foundation, and an Environmental Stewardship Intern at Fort Caswell.

Sandra has a passion for marine science and conservation. Sandra has worked with field biologists to rescue and transport injured marine mammals to local rehabilitation facilities, assisted with marine mammal necropsies, and conducted cetacean ethograms while photo-monitoring. As a marine science instructor, they taught students about coral reef ecology, fish identification, seagrass ecology, and invertebrate diversity. Sandra also took students to coral reef, seagrass, and mangrove sites to explore each ecosystem's diversity. Outside of teaching, Sandra collected and recorded data on water quality, coral health, and seagrass for various grant research projects.

Sandra Chupinsky studied Natural Resources Management at Grand Valley State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.
