Deborah Flam is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling and program support. Currently, Deborah serves as the Owner of Deborah Flam Counseling since March 2025 and has been involved with Yesh Tikva as a Program and Support Assistant and Dvora Entin and Associates as a Mental Health Counselor since April 2021 and January 2021, respectively. Additionally, Deborah has contributed to Postpartum Support International in the roles of Support Group Facilitator and NJ Support Coordinator since January 2021, and served as Clinical Director at Beautiful Journey Counseling from March 2021 to March 2025. Previous experience includes the position of Director of Compliance at Supportive Care and Mental Health Counselor at Star Therapeutics. Postpartum Support International (PSI) was founded in 1987 by Jane Honikman. The purpose of the organization is to increase awareness among public and professional communities about the emotional changes that individuals and families experience during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. PSI has members all over the world, including volunteer coordinators in every one of the United States and in 50+ countries. PSI disseminates information and resources through its volunteer coordinators, website, DVD, and annual conference. Its goal is to provide current information, resources, education, and to advocate for further research and legislation to support perinatal mental health.
