Lauren Thompson, MHS, is a dedicated professional specializing in perinatal and postpartum mental health. Currently serving as Co-Chair of the Maryland Chapter for Postpartum Support International and co-founding Community After Birth, a non-profit organization focused on postpartum care support and education, Lauren's work emphasizes advocacy and collaboration. As a postpartum doula with 4th Trimester Family LLC, expertise in providing comprehensive support to families is demonstrated. Formerly a Creative Writer at Synergist Computing, Lauren's skills in content creation and digital marketing complement experience in non-profit roles, including board membership with the Bill Sweeney Perinatal Care Fund. Educational achievements include a Master of Health Science degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology from Virginia Tech.
