Tariq S.

Tariq S. began their work experience as a Portfolio Analyst and Investor Relations specialist at SA Bullion in 2008. Tariq then moved on to co-found Goldqad (Pty) Ltd in 2011, where they served as a Co-Founder until 2012. In 2013, they worked as the Manager of Business Development at Emirates Gold Europe GmbH. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Management Consultant at Kearney. In 2018, they became the Head of Strategic Acquisitions at Invest East Africa. In 2019, they took on the role of a Seed Consultant at Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Later that year, they founded their own company, Postpay, where they currently hold the position of Founder & CEO.

Tariq S. has a diverse education history that includes studying at various institutions. Tariq participated in an exchange program at Esade, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Additionally, they attended the Graduate School of Business - University of Cape Town, earning another MBA degree with a focus on Strategy. Prior to their postgraduate studies, Tariq completed their undergraduate studies at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Marketing and International Trade. Furthermore, they received their International Baccalaureate from Le Bocage International School Mauritius, displaying their proficiency in Physics. Lastly, Tariq attended Mombasa Academy in Kenya, although the specific degree and field of study during this period are unknown.
