Raj Gopal

Raj Gopal is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the natural resources and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Merlin Advisors at Poten & Partners since November 2011, Raj Gopal leads a technical due diligence group that provides specialized consulting and engineering services for the oil, gas, and energy industries. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Consultant at The Shaw Group, where Raj Gopal managed advisory and due diligence services, assessing technical risks across various projects. Additionally, Raj Gopal worked at Stone & Webster in the Process Engineering department, gaining expertise in process design and equipment rating during an assignment at a UK oil refinery. Raj Gopal holds an MSc in Biochemical Engineering and a BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from University College London.
