Andrew Hope

Andrew Hope has extensive experience in the legal field, particularly within the renewable energy industry. Andrew began their career as an Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP in 2004 and remained with the company until 2010. In 2011, they joined Torys LLP as an Associate before moving on to NextEra Energy Resources in 2013, where they held the position of Senior Attorney until 2018. Currently, Andrew serves as the General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Potentia Renewables Inc.

Andrew Hope completed their high school education at Luther College Highschool. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at The University of British Columbia, graduating in the year 2000. Later on, they attended the University of Toronto from 2001 to 2004, studying Law and obtaining a J.D (Juris Doctor) degree.
