Ron Goforth

Ron Goforth has been working in the healthcare industry since 1983. Ron began their career in the US Navy as a Leading Chief Petty Officer, where they provided effective communication and interpersonal skills in the direct management of personnel working in Health Records, Admissions/Discharges, Medical Boards, Decedent Affairs, Medical Evacuations, Overseas Suitability Screening, Transcriptions, and Coding. In 2007, they became a Contract Manager at OMV Medical, where they managed and coordinated government health care contracts at Naval Hospital, Camp Lejeune, and Naval Health Clinic, Cherry Point. In 2008, they were a Site Manager at Deployment Medicine International, where they managed on-site construction projects and overall upkeep of the 22-acre medical training facility. From 2009 to 2018, they worked at Universal Consulting Services as an Area Project Manager/Analyst, providing Project Management for a congressionally mandated program focused on the mental and physical wellbeing of Marines after returning from deployment. Most recently, they have been the Vice President of Academic Medicine at Potomac Healthcare Solutions since 2018.

Ron Goforth received a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration/Management/Minor Human Resource Management from the University of Mount Olive in 2015. In 2017, they completed a Masters Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University.
