Mike Hoglund

Mike Hoglund is a research fellow at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, focusing on program management and strategy development for the Naval Surface Warfare Center's Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division since March 2015. Previously, Mike served as a Science and Technology Project Manager at Vencore Inc. from April 2014 to February 2015, supporting the Expeditionary Canine Sciences program. Between July 2010 and March 2014, Mike worked as a Senior Program Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton, providing technical assistance to the Naval Expeditionary Dog Science & Technology Program. Earlier in their career, Mike was an analyst at KENTCO Corporation, offering support to various government entities, including the Office of Naval Research and the Department of Homeland Security, from June 1997 to July 2010. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from William & Mary and a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology with a concentration in Bioinformatics from The Johns Hopkins University.
