Saba Khan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Saba started their career at Kumon North America, Inc. as a Senior Employee, where they trained employees, facilitated children's learning, and graded assignments. Saba then worked at the University of Maryland Baltimore County as an Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships Front Office Assistant, where they communicated with students and parents, processed documents, and resolved financial aid issues. During their time at UMBC, they also served as an Undergraduate Academic Success Center Tutor, assisting students with general chemistry, physics, and chemical engineering. Saba further expanded their academic experience as a Center for Advanced Sensor Technology (CAST) Undergraduate Research Assistant, studying cellulose acetate and utilizing laser cutting machinery. Saba later became an Undergraduate Teaching Fellow, leading discussions, holding office hours, and grading assignments for an introductory chemical engineering course. Additionally, they worked as an Undergraduate Tutor, providing tutoring services for an introductory chemical engineering course. Saba then transitioned to the Maryland Department of the Environment, where they worked as a Regulatory and Compliance Engineer, reviewing engineering designs and specifications, preparing permits, and updating databases. Saba'smost recent role is as a Research and Development Project Engineer at Potomac Photonics, where they develop and optimizes micro-fabrication processes and performs statistical analysis of experimental data. Saba's work experience demonstrates their skills in tutoring, research, engineering, and project management.

Saba Khan completed their high school education at Catonsville High School from 2013 to 2017, earning a High School Diploma. Saba then pursued further education at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2017 to 2021. During their time at the university, Saba studied Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Biotechnology and Bioengineering, ultimately obtaining a Bachelor's degree in the field. In May 2020, they also obtained certifications in Chemical Process Safety in the Chemical Process Industry, Chemical Reactivity Hazards, Explosion Hazards, and Runaway Reactions from the institution SAChE.
